Seen a Great Light Hoodie — Isaiah 9:2 Christian Christmas Back Print

Every Christmas starts in the dark.

"The people that walked in darkness have seen a great light: they that dwell in the land of the shadow of death, upon them hath the light shined." — Isaiah 9:2 (KJV)

The story behind it: Isaiah wrote this to people living through a long, dark season, centuries before Bethlehem. A few verses later comes the promise it was pointing to: "For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given" (Isaiah 9:6). Matthew picks up the same words when Jesus begins His ministry in Galilee (Matthew 4:16). The light came to people who were still walking in the dark.

The design: A vintage engraving across the back: a winding valley road, a few cloaked travelers still on the way, and a great light breaking over the far hills. "SEEN A GREAT LIGHT" sits above the art, "THE PEOPLE THAT WALKED IN DARKNESS" and Isaiah 9:2 below. A small gold cross and "— Isaiah 9:2" sit on the left chest.

The hoodie: Gildan 18500 Heavy Blend, 50/50 cotton-poly, with a front pouch pocket and a double-lined hood. Unisex fit, S to 3XL, in Black or Dark Heather. Bone and gold ink. Made to order just for you.

A gift that means something: for the friend walking through a hard season this Christmas, the night-shift worker, the one who's waiting on an answer, or anyone who needs a reminder that the light already came. Pair it with the Prepare Him Room mug or the Keeping Watch shepherds print.
