A night shift on a cold hillside, and then the whole sky breaks open.
"And there were in the same country shepherds abiding in the field, keeping watch over their flock by night. And, lo, the angel of the Lord came upon them, and the glory of the Lord shone round about them: and they were sore afraid." — Luke 2:8–9 (KJV)
The story behind it: The first people told about Jesus weren't priests or kings. They were working men on the night shift.
The print: Hand-carved folk linocut in ink, evergreen, sand and Devine gold, with the verse reference and our small Devine Designs Co. mark set in the bordered bottom panel. Printed on 200 gsm premium matte paper in 12x18 or 16x24 inches. Made to order just for you. Frame not included.
A gift that means something: for the nurse, trucker, farmer, first responder or new parent who knows what a long night feels like, and for anyone who needs to remember that good news still finds ordinary people.
